If we consider it historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat and bows and arrows were one of the first weapons that people used. But if we see in modern times, its main use is that of a recreational activity and it is also considered as a sport. In the mythology many deities and heroes are described as archer, and probably the most famous archers are one of the eighteenth-century in England. They played an important role in the social networks of local elites and since they are so many times presented in the movies, we know them most well. The bow seems to have been invented in the late Paleolithic or early Mesolithic periods. The oldest bows known so far come from the Holmegård swamp in Denmark.

Game Walkthrough: Welcome in the Medieval age when the archers played a very important role in the society. Since there weren’t any other weapons, they were a main part of the medieval army. In the following game you will have the chance to try how it would be if you were a brave archer. You have your bow and arrows and few different tasks – to hit various targets. At the first level you start with hitting a regular target, you should hit the bull’s eye, and after you’ve passed that level, you go on shooting live targets – moving and fixed targets. You may think that you’ve aimed well but always have in mind that the gravity and the wind (his speed and direction) have a high influence on the final result. To avoid those factors trick you, follow the circles that appear when you aim. The bigger circle is your center while the smaller circle refers to the external factors. When you see that the both circles are on your target, that means that you may shoot and you will probably hit. The targets should be shot within the time limit or before they reach you. For precise shoots you earn a lot of points, and also there is a chance to win some bonus time for the next level. Try to reach till the end of the game, dealing with all the targets.

Game Instructions: Like every other archer, your task in this game is to shoot the targets. For that you won’t need bow and arrow but only your mouse. You will use the mouse to aim the bow and click on the left mouse button to shoot. While you’re shooting, consider the gravity and the speed and the direction of the wind because they influence on the final result, would it be a hit or miss. Sometimes those factors may be negative for you, and in that moment you should wait for a while for the perfect shot, but not too long because the targets may reach you of the time may pass.
