Description: Let’s start with little history. Do you know what the Battle of the Middle Islands is about? Well we are talking about "the most stunning and decisive blow in the history of naval warfare" and it’s spotted as the turning point of World War II and the most significant naval battle of the Pacific Campaign. What actually happened in this battle? The Japanese had an intention to occupy the Midway Atoll, to extend their defensive perimeter, in order to provide a base and prepare themselves for further attacks against Fiji and Samoa. Their plan was to draw the US Pacific Fleet into a battle where they could overcome and destroy it. On the top of this plan was the, Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto but his mission failed. It happened that Admiral Chester Nimitz countered this offensive, using decrypted Japanese radio intercepts. It was June the 4th, 1942 when the American forces attacked and sunk four Japanese carriers inflicting permanent destruction on the Japanese fleet and pushing Yamamoto to departure. And now, in this game, you take part in the historical Battle of The Midway Islands. You are a part of the troop that is in the main battle field to fight out the enemies, as a fighter plane pilot. Do your best to destroy great part of your enemies moving through the space, but also try to protect yourself from their attacks. Move fast because opponent’s planes are also fast and try to shoot first, when the planes are still far from you. Game Instructions: This is quite easy but very entertaining shooting game. You use the WASD keys for moving on the screen while J is used for shooting. Hold J when you need to power up and press K to drop a bomb. Shoot’em up and have a great fun!
